Last week the kids made up their own "Not Bummer Summer" charts. I know it's not actually summer, but it feels like it, and so far things seem to be off to a pretty good start. We've been having nice weather, good times with friends, and yesterday Reese got to go to Toronto with Dave to do some more background work. It's completely unpredictable, but we are hoping that she can get the opportunity to go about once a month. It's been fun so far. Yesterday they filmed in the evening and Dave had the day off so took me out to lunch while the kids were in school, which was really nice. :) We want to give our kids as much opportunity to explore different activities, but sometimes there just isn't enough time or money for them all. We're taking a gymnastics break right now (so we can try some other stuff) and Reese is taking diving instead, and loving it. Come the fall, we might try a couple more new activities. I think with a little planning ahead, we can maybe get that "Not Bummer Summer" the kids are hoping for. If you are not familiar with the not bummer summer chart, check and Judy Moody and the Not Bummer Summer.
This kid is starting to look much too old! She's all about the rompers right now.
